This project had a very quick turn–around time because the show was put together less than a week before the event. The organizers asked that it be simplified. (see Motion section)
"It's business time..." These cards were printed on my inkjet printer. One side is neon sticker paper, the other is a thicker stock with random images from my collage book (see above).
The images were printed to an 8.5" x 11" sheet, cut at sections for a variety of back sides.
Each card was a unique image. And a second printing of the musical texture was added to get a thicker black. Finally, for some added pizzazz, the sided were sheared with my bad-ass Singer™ pinkers. People really liked'em. These three are some of my favorites.

Collage and live action Scrabble™ antics for party at our local WAB
My father's colleague, Hellmut Fritzche, asked me to design a cover for a photo-copied booklet of Stanford R. Ovshinsky's essays on Photovoltaic chemical spreads and the uses of asymmetrical amorphous bonds. I began generating spiral-graph-like messes in Adobe Illustrator for the cover. It really pushed me towards working with more geometric drawings.

A study of the mega-corporation IKEA's history. It features original water-color illustration and a variety of collages and photography from stores and catalogues. Its quite large so I included the link above to show a few more treatments from the entire 200 pages.

Some promotional fliers (sliced vertically into 3's for easy printing at home or kinko's) for the three talks Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D - OH) gave in southeastern Michigan in 2008.
Various elements for a temporary promotion for Majestic Theatre, Detroit. The colors, forms and letter treatments reflect and play with the origins of the theatre's style from the 1920's.
Shirt collage and typography design for Letters in Binary. Subject matter and characters relevant to sampling and lyrical stylings. Cats, Audrey Hepburn and Arthur Cravan.
The image of Rodin's Zeus adds an ancient/dreamy quality to the shirt. The collage of our favorite writers, artists and thinkers was my original idea. Can you find Mike Park?
Sorry this seems kinda dirty. This is an ongoing poster design/chart of my romantic mis-haps. I found the image of the girl, totally created the environment from scratch, added in the horse and other animals/hidden insects, gave her the scar too...
The lettering is a mixture of feathers...
